Total incompetance
They messed up our claim, We were supposed to have a joint claim, which until a few weeks ago was going through fine, then we get a phone call saying my partner had to go and fill in some other forms which they said needed to be filled in due to an error. He went along and signed twice, and then thats when problems started .....
1, We went in and signed as normal on the tuesday, all seemed fine until friday rolled around, the day we usually recieve the money, checked the bank and nothing there, so we phone up our signing office, to be told it was only actioned on thursday!!! thus meaning payment would not reach us until the following tuesday, havig bills to pay and the like this was not ideal
2, when asked about the money it seemed that I was only to be recieving a single persons allowance, and my partner was not recieving any funds
3, we phoned stratford who is our BDC, to be told we would recieve a phone call within 3 hours for the investigation, 3 hours rolled along no phonecall so we call again, this time we would recieve a call within the hour.... yet again no call, phone for the third time and get escalated to manager level, which to our surprise we DID actually receive a call but not from a manager, but from someone who was really unhelpful, and who hung up on me, only to get a call a few minutes later from someone who "claimed" to be a manager
4, we were told that the time was too late to make a fater payment into out bank and that the only possible alternative was to get a giro sent out to us, which they promised would reach us Saturday, or Monday at the latest, moday rolls around only for there to be no giro, and how lucky for them monday was strike day
Not only has this left us in a situation where we have not been able to eat, but also with an interview due tomorrow has left us unable to attend, we have since contacted our local JCP and explained to them and are now waiting (without holding our breath) for them to call us back leaving it with them to try and contact Stratford on out behalf as we use PAYG phones.
Has anyone else out there had this same outrageous attitude from them?
