Hi,
Looking for some help please.
Back in April found some old statements in the loft and after looking through a few old credit card statements noticed that had been charged PPI on a a couple.
After using the resolver tool, had a response from MBNA which I was a little surprised with stating that they would be rejecting the complaint as they wrote to me in November 2013 and that 3years had passed since letter was sent.
1. I do not remember receiving letter.
2. With all the publicity around PPI I would have jumped at the chance to get some some money back.
If anyone can give me some advice of how to word the letter to send back to MBNA it would be very much appreciated as to be fair MBNA had a paragraph on the letter stating if there are any exceptional circumstances for not referring the complaint within time limits.
It also refers to:-
we we have also identified your account may be impacted by the Supreme Court case decision Plevin v Paragon which could mean that you are entitled to some compensation - despite the above conclusion (rejection)
Look forward to hearing from you all,
Kindest Regards,
Sandyhaven
