  • PPI Time Limit

Hi - Is there a time limit relating to when PPI was applied to a loan. For example, if I took out a loan in say 1998, would there still be grounds to lodge a complaint and request for refund.

My gut feel is yes because I believe that there is a 3 year limit from the time that I became aware of the issue but am unsure where PPI is concerned being a relative novice.

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere, I did have a scout about on some of the stickies but could not find if it was covered.

    Re: PPI Time Limit

It would be 6 years from when you became aware of the issue afaik, you should get your complaint in - even for a 1998 loan - it might be a bit trickier than more recent PPI's it really depends who the lender was ?
