  • HSBC PPI Reclaim Help needed please

    Hi ,

just wondering if anyone can give me some help or advice please about a personal loan I had with HSBC way back in 1996 , which i "may" of been mis sold ppi with ?? I need to know if they were mis selling ppi as far back as 1996 ?? , and if so what year did they start mis selling it ? .

I know HSBC dont keep any records now that are over 6 years old , and if they were mis selling ppi back then ? , how do i go about getting the infomation i would need to make a claim without contacting one of these TV Ad companys to do it ??

    Many Thanks

    Hello Glen.
I suggest to send for SAR to see what information they do have about your case anyway.

What are your circumstances in respect of PPI?

Why do you believe it was mis-sold?
Are you eligible, could you possibly make a successful claim or not?
For example, if you had pre-existing medical conditions or your employment status would not made it possible to claim unemployment benefit etc., then it would be a mis-sale.
I got refunds from my loans from mid 90s, because due to my employment status I could not claim.

Let's get a bit more details and we'll try to plan our next step.
Please request your SAR just in case.

    We are here to help.

    Best of luck,

    Victoria
