Just deciding whether to go for PPI.
Only thing we've had PPI on (as far as i know) is credit cards, any new stuff we always refuse the PPI, and in fact cancelled the credit card PPi ages ago. Have had all charges back on credit cards, both of our Crap One accounts now closed, OH's Natwest still got a balance but card no longer in use. I don't remember ticking the PPI boxes in the first place.
Would I need to get the CCAs first, then go for it, or just ask them to pay it back straight off.
There was
Capital One (now closed, all charges reclaimed)
Natwest (all charges reclaimed, small balance owing, all up to date, card no longer in use)
Barclaycard OH small balance, never had any charges
MBNA no charges, small balance, up to date, recently cancelled PPI
Citi (had most of charges back, filing N1 for the rest)
Haven't done any spreadies yet, waiting to see if I need the CCAs first.
All advice gratefully received.
