Mortgage exit fee

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this?

After sending a letter off to Barclays requesting my mortgage exit fee back in 1995 ( still have account number which i quoted in the letter) there have replied and claimed there are unable to find the number i supplied and have asked if i could supply them with 1.Paper work confirming the redemption of the mortgage 2. When i paid the fee? unfortunately i do have that information.

What steps if any can i take next???

I take it Barclays set up the mortgage.

Who was the actual lender of your mortgage? (Maybe you should ask them for the details).....:tinysmile_twink_t2:

I am still dealing with Barclay's over the exit fee,

On a positive note i have received £ 85.00 back from a mortgage exit fee from 2003 with Alliance & Leicester ( Santander) one letter and a quick phone call is all it took
