Capital one And Egg PPI Rejection.

Hi all
can anyone assist/ I received a letter from Capital One, stating that I applied on-line and dint tick the protection box....
then a few days later applied for it? Only because they called me and explained that the protection would cover me for all sickness/redundancy etc etc...so little ol' me agrees....sound like a good job! Now they refuse to pay out? Do I have any options?

The other is Egg (Barclays) who also rejected, their claim being I filled it out on-line, ticked the protection box and so knew the restrictions?!! All offers gratefully accepted..

And, RE: EGG, all the EGG customers applied for their Cards on-line, they had to. Therefore, same would have taken out the PPI (CRP) out the same time.

Why do you think that the PPI was mis-sold; which reason or reasons did you give?
