Hi,bought a car from these people oct 2002 so fos have said not under ther reg,s.have sent letter over 8 weeks ago,heard nothing,Been told that may need to apply to finance company instead,seen post saying ADVENT is this but my paperwork has them as administrator and NIG as finance company for gap insurance so was wondering if they would have done ppi also :tinysmile_hmm_t2:

Hi there

With the broker not being regulated by the FSA, do the FOS mean the underwriter/insurer of the policy instead?
That is the usual avenue they suggest.

You need to know who to pursue (name/address of the insurer/underwriter and careful wording is needed in a complaint letter, as they will otherwise come back to say it was nothing to do with them blah blah.
