I'm glad I've managed to bring a smile to your lady wife's face after the good work she put in earlier by punching in all the figures - and that you guys get to enjoy your trip to somewhere warmer below the Tropic of Watford. As there is a fair amount of estimation involved, then we have to try and make our estimation methods reasonable and acceptable. I hope I have done this. If the claim calculation is eventually questioned, then I'll be glad to try and explain my logic - and I'll be happy to do the same for yourself - and Mrs-G.
Accuracy is important, though - so please do check the corrections and alterations I have made. In particular, the Purchase Rate of APR rate used throughout, as this can have quite an effect on the result.
