Re: PPI preium rates for Santander Credit Cards

    Hi and welcome

You could try requesting for the information on the account by requesting for a Subject Access Request (SAR), they have up to 40 calendar days to comply and provide you with as many details they still hold on the account. Mainly its the last 6 years, but some businesses may hold data for longer, so it's up to you if you want to request for the information.
With this request, you enclose the one payment of £10 cheque or postal order.

If you require the SAR template letter, one of us will be more than happy to apply this on your thread for you.

However, you do not actually require the information to make a reclaim on the PPI, but as long as you still have details of the card account number then that is fine, you can therefore continue to make a reclaim, and they should provide you with a breakdown of how they came to the amount of PPI due to you.
Please note though, if they do not hold all the information, but just the most recent, they may only be able to refund you going back to what details they do hold, but still definately worth a shot with the reasons you have for being mis sold.

Below are some details that you will find useful and how to make a reclaim, you can optionally do this by letter, or by using a reclaim questionnaire complaint form, remember to keep copies of what you send, and any correspondence you receive, as you may need to refer back to it again at another time, or if the final decision is rejected, you may be able to complain free to the Financial ombudsman service (FOS), so best to keep hold of everything if you can.

On the last link posted, are details of the FOS.

Here is the complaint form you can use to complain to the bank/business, and remember, the complaint is sent to the business that set up the account with PPI.

This above link, you will find the complaints form (to complain to the bank), not to confuse this with the FOS complaints form though, such as if you need to complain to them later on.

    Hope this info helps you.

Good luck, and ask for further help if required. ;-)
