Hi all
I'd be grateful if anybody can help to decipher an entry on a credit card statement. The credit card was a Lloyds TSB Gold Service Card issued in 1998. The statements I have date back to February 2000. There are a couple of entries over the course of a few months which read 'PRIVILEGE INS'. I really don't know what this is. The amounts are variable and sometimes occur twice a month, i.e. £13.00 on 4th of the month and £62.00 on the 18th. The location affixed to the transaction is Leeds. There is a reference number but without really know what it's for I don't know where to start with it.
There is an issue with PPI on this card - I filed a SAR with Lloyds and the application form shows that PPI was included but it had been removed from the credit card at some point in time. I don't know whether or not this entry is related to the PPI or not. I doubt that it's car insurance because I've never used Privilege for car insurance and I've always paid for it with my current account. At some point in time, however, I was a Lloyds TSB Privilege member (I stumbled across the card with the name of my Privilege Manager on).
Could somebody offer some advice? Does anybody else have any similar entries on their credit card statements?
