Evening all,
As the title suggests.
I held a Goldfish card from '97 to '09 and complained twice in that time that I didn't want PPI...it was never stopped.
I eventually complained to Barclays regarding this and received a letter back from them today saying that my complaint had been upheld as they had been "unable to establish whether or not PPI was suitable for you or properly explained to you when you took it out."
Suffice to say it wasn't.
However, despite upholding the complaint, I am not, apparently, entitled to a refund as "we see from our records that you have not paid any premiums to date".
Clearly during my original submission to Barclays I supplied many Goldfish statements on which Goldfish Payment Protection is clearly visible.
Delaying tactic or have I the totally wrong end of the stick?
Apologies for posting something that has probably been covered a million times, but I've hunted and can't find anything similar.
Yours,
etc.
