Hi, sorry if ut has already been posted somewhere.

I'm looking at claiming back my PPI from the above which i had an account before 2005.

Is there any templates to get the ball rolling anywhere, and what is the general time scale on hearing anything back?

Hi there Mike

If Welcome were your broker who set up and sold your account, the business are now in default, so with that you have to contact a company called The Financial Compensation Scheme (FSCS), more details below.
But the FSCS will send you a form to complete, and you will need to send "copies" of the relevant information, such as the agreement and application (in copies), they will accept lenders paperwork as they will be aware of the relationship of both the lender and broker. Unless of couse in your case welcome were the broker and lender the paperwork will be therefore their own anyway (but others lenders you have).
