  • Claiming back from Brackenwood or GE Money?

Just trying to help a friend but no so easy,
She took out a loan to buy new windows from Brackenwood in 1999 and was sold PPI , it gets complicated because GE Money are involved as well, they are saying that they provided the finance to you for the PPI but GE Money did not sell it to you.
So they have suggested contacting Brackenwood Windows, in there favour they have sent a copy of the complaint to Brackenwood Windows
Not so sure of this outcome, whether to write to them or just wait for a response if any by post.
Hope they had the right address, didn't see any point in re-doing another PPI claim letter at this stage

    Hi there

It's correct that whoever set up and sold the policy who are responsible.

There is no harm if worried to contact them (write) to make sure the complaint's been sent to them from the other business, just for confirmation.

Maybe give it a few days or a week, to see if your friend receives an acknowledgement letter from them, if not then chase them up.

    Good luck.
