Do Not understand PPI claims. Help

A few weeks ago I was contacted by an extremly pushy and annoying company saying I can claim on PPIs on Loans and Credit Cards etc.

I refused and actually put the phone down on him.
But I understand it can be done. Just not sure if I qualify or even my parents on their loan

Me
1) £1000 loan taken out last xmas, still paying off.
2) Had Lloyds credit card for at least 10 years, currently clear.
3)Had Capital One Card for years, clear
4) Had Post Office card for approx 4 years, small amount on that ( less then £30)

Can claims be made.

Parents.
Loan of £2000 taken out earlier this year.
Can they claim?


I am tired of the gov and banks getting money we all work hard for, so any advice or help in claiming is appreciated.

You can claim the PPI back if you had it on any of those accounts and it was mis sold to you.

Mis sold would be?

Not explained, not needed, unfair charges for late payments etc right?

Another example of mis-sold PPI is if you are self emplyoyed you would not be covered under the policy. Because most of the PPI are genreally for employed persons in accordance to the policy wording.

We first need to ascertain if you had PPI on the loan at your item number 1

examine your agreement-scan it up here if you like after removing personal details like name and account number--

Then we need to ascertain (from your statements) that you actually had PPI on those cards at items 2-4

Late payments penalty charges are different and we claim those SEPARATE from the PPI---we can help with this also

Tell us what you got----you may need to do a few SAR's if you lost all records though.---at £10 a go

Hi there

Yes you can make a reclaim on any PPI account with your reasons of being mis-sold PPI.
It does not matter how old they are, always give it a go and I am happy to hear you want to have a go with your yourself.

Follow the guidelines of the PPI reclaiming from what the other guys posted above and below are more details to follow, but please do post up for help anytime too.

I will point out that instead of writing a letter of complaint, the main of the banks/companies expect a questionnaire now, these were issued by the Financial ombudsman service (FOS), complete this and save copies in case you need to complain to them later on.
Although some will accept complaints by letter.
