  • Payment without Offer Information

RBS sent me a letter stating that there will be a delay in processing my PPI claims. Surprisingly, they also highlighted the payment of the PPI claim when there was no offer at all on paper for me to view. Is this the normal procedure when the complaint was lodged with the Ombudsman? I think they should send me a letter to tell me what the amount is and what constitutes the amount. RBS should also tell me how they have arrived to the final settlement amount. Is this their attitude when RBS is about to be taken over by Santandar, probably in December?

Thanks in advance for any info.

    Re: Payment without Offer Information

    Hi there

You need to contact them, telephone or email, ask them to send you a full explanation of what is what, as they've not made this letter clear to you.

    Good luck.
