  • PPI Lloyds

Hello to you all, I haven't been on for a while, ill health held me back for a while.
I have a query on consumer confidentiality, it goes something like this:

I have a PPI complaint with Lloyds, and have been fighting quite hard against them, today I received a final response from them, good in one respect, because I will futher my complaint to the F O S, but really bad in another, Lloyds sent with the final response, a copy of a credit agreement with a lady from up country somewhere, but I cringed as I saw all of her details on this paper in front of me.
Now I have already phoned Lloyds today, to tell them of this gross mistake, but I would like make an official body aware of this breech, but not sure where to go next,
    Any Help much appreciated
    Thanks

      Re: PPI Lloyds

      Hi there

      Good luck with these.

I remember on my very first reclaiming with lloyds (loan one PPI) as there are a few lol, even though they gave an offer of goodwill, I still wasn't satisfied, it was the final decision as well, I emailed their customer dept raised a few points with them, and within days they did actually overturn the final decision to an upheld position, but you can't guarantee it, I done this by giving them 14 days to get back, and if I did not hear, I would then be complaining to the FOS.

I did also point out that at the time I was aware that the FSA were punishing banks that were rejecting genuine complaints and for not investigating them properly, I told them I believe mine was one of them, because they missed lots of my points raised on my reasons of reclaiming.

You may also find these contact details useful if you do not have them...
      customer.care.insurance@lloydstsb.co.uk

And the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
      Eric.Daniels@lloydstsb.co.uk

When emailing customer care, they do normally get back the following day, if you do this remember to enclose your case ref number, it may be best if you send anything by email attachment, and explain by email its very important and that you want your matter looked into immediately.

You can also forward what you email them - copy it to the CEO, although its unlikely you will hear directly from him, but its generally left to his underdogs then.

Good luck with this and I would do as PF also suggests.

Forgot to say, request for receipt confirmation as well, so you know your case is being dealt with.
