PPI Win for BIL

HSBC told BIL he had to take out PPI with the loan even though the PPI was invalid if he was self employed which at the time he was.


I wrote them a letter 3 or 4 weeks ago based on the templates on here and today received a letter stating the PPI was missold and they would refund all the monies paid on the PPI which amount to 4.5k


Will try and convince BIL to donate.... might be some time as he has debts coming oout his ears and it take me and my steel toecaps just to get him to pay his mortgage.

What about delivery charges you should sumit to him, posting, licking the stamp etc etc????

Really surprised he got the letter on the 13th, he replied and accepted (byspecial delivery) on the 14th an money was transfered in to his new bank account by 17th
