Had a silent call today from a very strange no, just 00, when i tried who calls me ,it came up no too short, but it rang ,so must be someone

Got one from a withheld number, lady who offered me Greetings from Manilla.. and wanted to know how i was today and was i interested in getting all my PPI back from my (non exsistant) loans and cards that my bank had told her about (my non exsistant bank) so i asked her where she got an ex directory number from and did she realise it was illegal to cold call, and that im registered with the TPS.. and she was ringing from which company again?

I don't blame you, they used to call me all the time for non urgent matters, worse thing was it was my mobile they would call me on. Even when i was in meetings or talking to a customer, they would say oh but it will only take a minute of your time. I would respond " Is it urgent, such as a security issue with my account" they'd say no, but you are eligible for, at which point i would stop them and say " 1 - if its not urgent then why would i want to take up a minute of my business associates time whilst am in an important buisness meeting, (Or why would i want to waste a minute of my customers time whilst am listening to their stupid sales pitch) and 2 if i wanted whatever your about to offer me, i would go in to my local branch and ask for it - End call with a polite now don't call me unless theres an urgent security issue with my account, now please F off"

Nothing more annoying then have them call you when your with a customer or in an important meeting. As it doesn't just annoy myself but it also annoys the customers, and/or people whom am having the meeting with, which isn't good when that meeting could lead to a major contract to supply a big company.

When i was poor they bloody rang me!

Even when I go in branch they have tried to get me to go for a fee paying account, why would I want to do this would not "benefit" from the "benefits"

Yeah they were always doing the same for me, but i said why the hell would i want a fee paying account that gives me membership Love Film, free travel insurance, god knows whatelse. When 1 it will cost me more in bank fees then it would to actually sign up for membership accounts on my own seperately, not to mention the fact that i wouldn't be interested in any of them. As for travel insurance, well why the hell would i want to pay for that all year round when i only go on holiday once or twice a year if am lucky, and even then its usually within the UK lol.

Same here, my Mobile phone cost me £12 and we already have a basic recovery on the car insurance as well as Green Flag
Expect the next thing will be the house insurance as its due soon!

eaiest way to stop home insurance sales calls.. when you go on your price comparisson sites, put in your area code (0123) then 4567890!!!
the amount of times ive had to ring a supplier up and give them the right number, but me phones nice and quiet at renewal time, and when the bank ring you tell them your in contract and to ring you feb 31st!
