Write a letter to them immediately and send this by special delivery
          as follows:-
          Set it out in points....

You want a complete written update on your claims ie what claims have been successful and which claims are still outstanding. You also want to know the full amount of the money which they have recoveedso far on your behalf. Ask them if they are holding this in a client account which is accruing interest.
You could also ask another question ask them if they are authorised to hold money with the OFT.

Of the claims which they have been successful, you also want to know what the other claims are for ie bank charges, credit card charges, mortgage charges, PPI, writing off credit card balance. If it is PPI, then I suspect that will filter through soon enough as these will start to be paid shortly. If it is writing of a credit card balance this is really not an option as there has been cases where it is a no go.

Once you have their written letter with explanations, then I or the team can advise further.

Not confusing me, i just dont understand the relevance of asking "but how much did you receive in total?" after saying how pleased you are for them. this insinuates that you think she may have been ripped off or conned out of money! the customer was happy with their payout, no need for a "but".

Likewise the quote from Tuttsi you have posted "Basically, I have not heard of one person so far who has been sucessful, but that is not to say that there have not been any."

Followed by: THERE HAS BEEN, THEY HAVE POSTED ON LATER PAGES.

Perhaps you should read her sentence again, particularly the latter part.

I think the first part of the sentence is far more important and also untruthful. she hasnt heard of one person who has had a successful claim? really? even though she is constantly replying to customers who have had successful claims including myself? why be mis-leading? is there a hidden agenda here?

The whole point of 'research' is to research a subject as fully as possible in order to furnish oneself with information, both facts and opinions. 'Research' is not an instruction and presumably there are other sites with some positive information.

LEGAL beagles! people coming to these forums expect "expert" advice regarding their consumer rights. Not the "opinions" of disgruntled amateurs!

Tuttsi is as much entitled to her opinion and to post it here as you are. I do not see your point.
MY POINT IS VERY SIMPLE. I QUOTE FROM TUTTSI "MILLIONS OF CUSTOMERS" ARE WAITING FOR A REFUND OR RESULTS ETC. HOW CAN SUCH A BOLD STATEMENT BE MADE WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCE SUPPORTING THIS? THERE ISNT EVEN THOUSANDS (DOUBTFULLY HUNDREDS) OF CUSTOMERS ON HERE COMPLAINING, LET ALONE MILLIONS!

PS: havent been on here for a while and now notice that i havent had a response from tuttsi to any of my comments in my previous post and her original post is still as it was over 2 YEARS AGO! How professional and helpful!

              Ronaldo

The only time I have ever mentioned a million on this thread was to do with a BBC article which was to do with the Rankines and was a £1million pounds which was part of that article and that had nothing to do with Money Claiming Experts.

I really cannot edit old posts this has to be done by Admin, I will ask Admin to have a look and see if there is anything there that is so terribly wrong and have it deleted for you.

Perhaps that meant that she had treated it with appropriate disdain?

If an object at one's feet looks like it might be a dog turd, it hardly seems necessary to pick it up, examine it closely, smell it or even taste it before one decides that one would rather not step on it.

Re: Money Claiming Experts & Client Connection ltd???

Hi i am new at posting on forums, i have a little story to tell,
A while ago i was unable to work due to an illness and after being rejected by employment and support allowance i had to apply for every job going just to keep my household above water, thinking this was a "real" job i applied and before i knew it i was cold calling having to follow a script and putting up with abuse over the phone and the pressure of the managers,i also had to take money up front from customers credit cards that i had called out of the blue, on the sales floor managers actually try and sell the job to you, It got to the point where i was being physically sick before going in every day making up to 400 calls a day and only having a 20 minute break working from 8:50-5:30!!!! the funny thing is that I got "let go" because i wasnt making lots of sales a week (and i was to nice telling people to register free with the telephone preference service as its free and illigal for them to call) there was no notice to work just let go there and then!!they also have not paid me for the hours i have work so i'm seeking advice to take it further.

the funny thing is that they say theyre regulated by the ministry of justice but they do not do things by the book because they have theyre own body in the moj so they won't loose theyre licence whatever they do TO ANYONE WHO IS THINKING ABOUT GIVING CREDIT CARD DETAILS TO THEM PLEASE DON'T, IF IT WALKS LIKE A DUCK AND QUACKS LIKE A DUCK ITS A DUCK SO IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM ITS A SCAM!!!!, you can do it yourself for free they now take an upfront fee of 359.98 and also take 30% of the claim value +vat (that's if you even get money back) they double the fee if you have over 5 claims obviously i was at the bottom of the chain but i heard that the fee goes straight into there pockets they also call you up and ask you to pay more money to get you're claims "fast tracked", they do not do your claims themselves they pass it on to another claims management company plus if you try to get your fee back after the 14 days they reject you because its over the "cooling off period"

this ppi is real and so are other flaws in financial agreements but there is no need to have a middle man (especially when theyre scamming you) do it yourself you get all of your money back personally i do not know if anyone has had success with them as i don't believe a word they said but what i know for sure is if you complain they take you're number&put it in the bin. if you're currently on the phone to them or tell them that you've read the forums they will give you these excuses:
1:go onto "orrange"(or any well known company I.E BT) forum and there will be people posting bad things about them that's what people do on forums.
                  or
2: it's ok theyre just disgruntled employees (i'm not i just have a conscience and would like to warn as many people as possible)

i think they should ban cold calling it's such an awful job and crappy wage and its not fair on the people making the calls or answering the other end!!!
if anyone has any questions for me i would be happy to answer them i know every word they say to you and the ways they persuade, but please no abuse i had no idea what i was going into and deeply regret it!!!!

Re: Money Claiming Experts & Client Connection ltd???

Thanks for posting up your insight into this company. We have heard so many tales of woe from people who have paid large sums of money over to this company and we are not surprised at what you have to say.

I will actually PM you as I have a couple questions to ask and would prefer not to put this on open forum and hope that you are able to answer me.

They should pay you for the hours which you worked and suggest you write a 'Letter Before Action' sent by special delivery so that it is signed for advising them that if they do not pay you in full within 7 days you will issue a small claim against them and that they will then be responsible for all your costs as well. It is actually not legal for them to withold payments to employees for work performed. Do you have a contract of employment? Do they deduct tax and NI from your pay? or do they just pay you gross with no deductions? They also need to provide you with a P45 after they have paid you.

They actually told someone on another forum that I was an disgruntled ex employee.... NOT TRUE.

On another occasion they said that my husband had lost a case that they were doing and that I was sore about them .... guess what NOT TRUE.

Well one thing's for sure, they don't have a body in the judiciary as they have been awarded a summary judgment against them for ''riding on the coat tails'' of Martin Lewis' trade mark 'MoneySavingExpert'.

And who represented CCL in defending the action? Step forward Ultimate Law LTD.

Well done Martin Lewis for taking them to task on the similarity of the name.

There trading name is now and has been for quite a few months isLifestyle Claims.

They have had 3 name changes in a couple of years, so wonder how long this name will last?

One might wonder if Mr Lewis would have resorted to law, had CCL used the arguably more apt "Money Squandering Experts"?

I received similar cold calling by Redress Claims earlier this month claiming they would be able to wipe off the existing credit card balances. I was also asked for an up front payment of £450 which I was uncomfortable in handing over to a cold caller until I had completed some research which led me to join this forum in the first place.

As a new member I have spent hours reading everyone's opinion and although different individuals state that any claims can be completed by yourself instead of using Redress Claims (and other named Company's), can anyone advise me on how this can be done?

                                Thank you:tinysmile_grin_t:
