    A forum member received a number of unexpected ' breach of contract ' invoices from the claims management company ' Bank-Smart'. After obtaining all the information from banksmart via a SAR ( https://legalbeagles.info/library/gu...ccess-request/ ) he disputed the charges in a formal complaint...

    If you receive similar invoices ( for breach of contract, cancellation or for a 'final invoice' stating previous payments were just ' interim' ) we recommend sending a data protection request to obtain your original contract and signed letters of authority and make a formal complaint , copying to the Financial Conduct Authority, with a view to taking it to the claims management ombudsman.
