Hi, I am having trouble with Uclaim4me demanding payment for a fee even though I never sent them a signed authority or agreement, which forum would be best to post this in?

Here's fine, I'll move you to the CMC forum
Is the fee they are chasing a commission fee for a successful reclaim or a breach of contract / cancellation fee ?
Did they cold call you originally - and did they ask you to sign anything while you were on the call ? via text /email link etc ?
Just another thread for ref - https://legalbeagles.info/forums/for...out-my-consent#staysafestayhome

They say I made a claim via a third party site called 'MyOffers' to which I have never signed up. After investigation this seems to be a site which offers rewards for completing surveys for various companies simply by entering an email address and some basic information (home address, mobile, DOB). I have never used this site but it certainly seems that someone else could have done so without my knowledge. I have never signed anything either by text, email or letter.

MyOffers ... ughhh yes there have been quite a lot of reports of this company decided agreements have been made by people using that site.
Okay first thing then is to send them, and HFC ( HSBC ) a Subject Access Request - for HFC I'd send it to the address that the offer came from.
Subject Access Request Letter
Or just ring HFC/HSBC PPI dept and ask them to send you a copy of anything to do with Uclaim4me and your account as you dispute you ever had anything to do with them.#staysafestayhome

Yes, and the Legal Ombudsmsm, but first you want the data from both so you know the facts of what happened and what your complaint is. Once that's received a formal complaint to Uclaim4me cc'd to both ( MOJ and LEO ) will be in order.

SUCCESS!
After having submitted a formal complaint and SAR to Uclaim4me they have responded with a quite apologetic letter as it seems they slipped up and did not check up on the opt-in for them to start PPI claims on my behalf after an introduction by MyOffers, they have therefore cancelled the fee 'on this occasion'. Bizarrely I also received yet another claim pack from them with LOA's for me to sign for pursuing banks that I know I have never had association with. I will of course will be writing to them once again to ask to stop sending these and to remove my data pursuant to the data protection act or GDPR.
WORD OF CAUTION! It seems that this whole mess was as a result of questionable verification of my identity and consent through the MyOffers website, I have also been in contact with them and had my details removed. It seems that anyone with some basic information on you can register for competitions and use fake email addresses to receive rewards.

Do you have/know of a template I could use to send to the CMC in regard to the fees that they are charging me...considering that they are chasing me for fees when I had not even signed anything with them. I remember filling out my email address and D.O.B in a free PPI Checker, however I would never provide a signature on an online form...when this is normally asked I close down and block the website. If it is a trusted website I always request a hard copy for signature to be sent in the post/via email. I thought the texts were a scam....you know like the ones that ask if you have had an accident. It is only when I had a letter from the bank that I had to contact them to see what was going on, as I had not actually made a claim for PPI. I have not even had a telephone conversation with this company to confirm if I am happy for them to go ahead and make a claim on my behalf.
Please advise, as I am now starting to get nasty texts from the company demanding payment.

Yes...but I thought the uclaim4me letter was a scam/junk mail so I ignored them...it was only when I had a letter from the bank that I rang them and they told me how much I was getting back and what it was from,
the figures they gave me were significantly lower than what was detailed on the invoice the cmc sent. In actual fact the invoice was closer to 50% of what I was given. If I had contracted them to make a claim I wouldn't be too bothered about complaining...but I haven't so much as had a conversation with them.

Indeed, ask them to provide a copy of your signed agreement and third party authority. A Data Access Request would be a wise move too(https://legalbeagles.info/library/gu...ccess-request/)
Also ask HFC for a copy of the third party authority they hold in order for them to deal with Uclaim4me.#staysafestayhome
