I cant find a suitable forum for this. I am making a claim against a credit card company.
Hi I have a problem with Nat West Credit Cards. I have been arguing with them for nearly a year. I have involved the financial ombudsman and the information commissioner’s office as I believe they broke the data protection act. All of the communications has been to
Nat West Credit Cards, PO Box 5747, Southend-on-sea, SS1 9AJ.
I finally gave up and decided to take them to court. It has to be done through the Salford courts Manchester. I filled out the form N1 and gave the address above. They have 14 days to respond but the time is now up and they have made no effort to accept or dispute this claim. I believe that they may have ripped it up and thrown it away. It is the kind of brutal tactics I have been used to over the past year. Why? Maybe because it was not addressed to a specific person or department or in this case it should be a different address. The only address I have and is on their website for complaints is this one. I believe they are part of a banking group owned by The Royal Bank of Scotland Group. But my complaint is with them not RBS. Is the failure to respond there way of taking the piss or should I have addressed it differently. If so what could I do. Hopefully not start all over again.
TIA
Desmond.
