    As some threads are in a private area here is a brief update of what's happening on the ground with LB bank charge claimants - not great reading I'm afraid.


    Megansden v Lloyds TSB
    Particulars of Claim entered on 3rd March 2010
    UTCCR only as account closed in 2006
    Sent a Part 18 to Lloyds on 8th March 2010
    Received application for an extension for Lloyds to file defence – extended to 24th March
    Defence received - hearing for directions on 30th April. Lloyds apply to strike. Postponed 14 days.
    Discontinued before hearing.

    Dustymare v Yorkshire Bank
    Hearing (1 hour) 29th March – application to overturn summary judgement = strike out claim - and applying to amend POC.
    - Summary Judgment upheld - claim struck out - costs awarded to Yorkshire Bank

    JPH v Nationwide
    Amended claim accepted - new POC entered - Part 18 requested
    Discontinued

    ClaireH v Nationwide
    Amended Claim accepted
    Discontinued

    Angrybankcustomer v HBOS (Scotland)
    Amended claim accepted.
    Hearing 15h April to accept Defence and set date for proof
    Ordinary Cause applied for - case discontinued by claimant due to costs risks

    Binebelb v Nationwide (Northern Ireland)
    On hold till after 23rd June (Judge wants to hear result of Govan Laws case in Scotland first)
    Remains on hold.

    Nelliewops v Lloyds
    Has until 23rd April to enter amended POC
    Discontinued

    Wubberchicken v Abbey
    Particulars of Claim submitted 18th March 2010 - Defendant given to 6 April to Defend
    No defence received 8th April - has applied for default judgment


    Chubbas Dad v Alliance & Leicester
    Order to submit amended POC by 3rd April
    DISCONTINUED CLAIM

    Gaz2006 v Yorkshire Bank
    Order to submit amended POC by 29th March
    Hearing 8th April - postponed due to sickness, no POC entered
    9th July hearing of amendment - claim struck out - no costs order

    Raker99 v Yorkshire Bank
    Order to submit amended POC by 22nd March - discontinued

    Yellowplum v Bank of Cyprus
    Submitted MSE template POC 4th March
    Received Part 18 request from Eversheds and request for extension for 28 days
    SETTLED - accepted offer from Bank of Cyprus

    JanieH v Yorkshire Bank
    Given till 4th May to submit POC
    9th July hearing of amendment - claim struck out - no costs order

    Hi all,
    Lost case as above, but good news is that to date not been asked for costs. Hope I'm not tempting fate but fingers crossed they felt sorry for me and have left it at that!!!

      I had lloyds i court today. I took in counsels opinion dated apr 10. Counsel for tsb stated that the opinion was a joke and had no bearing to the claim. Judge agreed and dismissed the claim. However when costs were asked for again judge dismissed as he thought they were excessive.
      If you have any sort of problems with bailiffs. I can help you as i am a self proclaimed specialist at dealing with them. I am hopefully going to start a degree (law) from october.
