I have a pension pot of app £35k with the pru. However, i can only withdraw in full from them or transfer out. I enlisted a financial advisor to arrange transfer me byt he has called today and said his company have said he cannot help me as we are on ESA and because it will impact what we get he cannot proceed.
Has anyone ever come across this before as, to my ignorant mind, it surely shouldn't matter to them what my position is.
I dont really want to withdraw the full pot as, obviously, that will completely lose me my ESA but 25% tax free lump sum would have very little implications as it will be spent within days upon receipt
