Re: advice needed r.e minicredit/opos please

[QUOTE=jon1965;527502]As most people know, minicredit ceased trading and have assigned their portfolio to another company who are using OPOS to collect the money . I noticed that on my jan credit report the balance had increased m possibly so minicredit could get a higher price.
I suspect but have not seen proof that these companies are all inter related.
I myself am getting phone calls from OPOS which I ignore , after all they are Scottish lol. I have heard nothing with regards to a NOA .
If they write I would be inclined to send a prove it letter[/QUOTE

hi there, from what I've been reading minicredit sold their portfolio of debt to OPOS when they ceased trading in the UK. Excuse my dumb Ness but what is an NOA? Good luck with them as when I've spoke with them in the passed they are complete morons and not professional at all accused me of committing fraud and all sorts when I spoke to them in 2012. How would you go about asking them to prove it if you don't mind me asking? Thanks for replying to my post by the way.

NOA is notice of assignment and is legally required to tell you that the debt has been sold. It was mini credits typical method to accuse people of fraud .

I have just been caught unawares on the phone by them so I refused security and told them I knew nothing of what they were talking about so they should put anything in writing
