    Re: Payday loan

"Thank you for contacting us to inquire about how to settle your balance. Please be advised, acceptance of the settlement offer constitutes the due date will not change and you will be ineligible to receive funds from Quick Quid or our affiliates in the future. The settlement we can offer is detailed below.

    £500.00__________due 13/07/2012 via debit card"

I keep reading this trying to make some sense of it, I think they mean that the settlement will be accepted as long as it is made on or before the due date, but it is obviously written by someone to whom English isn't their first language.

      Re: Payday loan

I am slighlty worried as when you read further down the email, they talk about a payment plan, so i am worried incase they take £500 as the start of a plan and then ask for more is that makes sense.

The £350 was to TXT loan, but i have not heard from them yet, sorry for any confusion.

Also have you had this problem yourself do you no many people who's offers have been accepted, thanks for the help at the min, i will let you know what they come back with

I have been fighting these for a few years nos, together with Stella Creasy(MP) trying to get some kind of effective regulation in place.

I have helped a number of people with their debts, but as i said at the beginning there is no one size fits all solution, usually if you hold your ground they give way, the problem is that the law is so woolly in this area.

Yes i noticed that , this is why i suggested that you make it clear that this is a one off payment, it may be that this is just their jargon for a repayment which is less than what they consider owed, but best be careful just in case.

I would have been happier if you would have gotten some kind of written confirmation first but at least you use someone elses card so they cannot take any more payments from that source.

Make a note of the exact time of the call and jot down exactly what was said, if you got the name of the person who accepted the offer record that also, just in case.

I've just checked the CCL Number. They clearly say on their email reply Casheuronetuk yet they have not got that registered as a trading name. I'm not siure if this is significant as Quickquid etc... are all 'bona fide'.

I have spoke to qq and they have told me that this email they sent should be taken as full and final payment if I pay them 500 pound. They will only accept A card payment should I pay them?

When you moved from your other account was it terminated or is it still active with no balance?

If so you could put £500 in and give them that number
