Morning all,
I would be grateful for some advice on the way forward in dealing with Moriaty Law whom I have received a Final Demand Before Proceedings letter.
Long story short, between 2014 and 2015 I was in a difficult situation and had to resort to pay day loans just to get by. As much as don’t like to admit I had 10 Lending Stream loans and 20 Wonga loans in the space of just over a year. All were paid off apart from my last LS one which was £580.
Fortunately, I have got myself sorted out and am on the cusp of finally having a reasonable credit rating however I have just received a demanding letter from Moriaty Law asking me to either pay up (sum is now £979), make a payment plan or go to court.
i do not want this to end badly and get a CCJ, but what should I do? I’m so worried...I do not have funds to clear the debt (I was made redundant end of last year) but only have a part time wage and as a single parent life is hard.
Any help is gratefully received x
