Hi
I currently have a suspended court order for the repossession of my car. The HP agreement ended in June 2015, there are still arrears of £645.75, made up as follows - repossession costs of £355 on 17/7/13 and £264 on 30/3/15. I have wrote to the solicitors asking that these charges be reversed on two occasions, each time they respond that they are valid. The first charge was done without a court order even though I had paid over 50%, the second was due to late payments, I have been paying the solicitor and I have documented evidence that over the last 12 months it has taken on average 41 days for my payment to reach the HP company. The solicitors are saying I still have to pay these costs, are they right?
Thanks
Colin
