We took out a personal loan with Blackhorse in 2005 , I got very Ill with stomach cancer, so could work so didn’t get paid . This loan was the last thing I thought off , I was then told I had terminal cancer, was made redundant because of my health . In 2012 I got another job as my cancer seemed to had become stable . In 2017 I got a ccj against me for this debt which I hadn’t thought off for years . So I started paying £250 per month an paid over £10,000 then I was furloughed for 12 months an couldn’t pay so phoned they were fine , I again got made redundant an couldn’t pay , I got a job an offered to pay a hundred a month- they are insisting to see expenditures. After paying over 10 grand you would think they would not pester us .
is there anything we can do .
any advise would be most welcome

      Hi Wina60

I hope you feel better, don't let them bully you.

Firstly only communicate in writing, make sure you get Proof of Postage.

      a) Send the following template, ask them to write off the debt on medical grounds, send some evidence, a Doctors Letter if you can. Make sure you get Proof of Postage.

      b) Send them a SAR request, they have 30 days to provide all the data on the account, make sure you get Proof of Postage.
