  • Woodyrocks V Nationwide

I was meant to start this early last year but life got in the way. More fool me I am hoping that I can take advantage of the hardship rule.

Can someone let me know what happens if you only tick clause a)? For clause b) I do have debt collection letters coming through the post from chancers but I bin them and do not have any to produce if asked.

I shall be printing off the letters tomorrow, 2 seperate Nationwide accounts including 1 that is now closed, to request my statements.

I do wish I had started the proceedings before the changes earlier this year but better late than never.

The final straw was coming home today to see that a DD for £15 had not been paid because I was 1.81 under. For that I get charged over £30 in fees for £1.81

Hello Woody and welcome to Beagles.
You have made a start now and as you say better late than never. I think we may need a little more info about your situation.
I would suggest you have a good read of other peoples threads claiming hardship and possibly fill in an I & E form, which you can pm to a Team, member you don't have to show it on your thread if you don't want to.
I know it's easy to throw debt collectors letters in the bin and forget they ever came, but these people are relentless and to be honest you are best trying to sort them, then ignore them. Enaid x
