Regarding the date of defence could someone please clarify the last date possible? Claim form was received on 12th June and acknowledgement filed on 26th June.

Check your dates enter the date of the N1 issue form then 33 days

A quick update. Following defence my friend has received quite a few papers related to the matter. Interestingly Capquest are offering a possibility to close the matter with the discounted rate and they are not using Reston Solicitors anymore for this case.

I will upload all of the documents received. My friend does remember purchasing those items online hence one of documents was his name in a signature place.

What in your opinion would be the best way to deal with it? Should he just phone in and try to negotiate a lower rate and following written confirmation pay it off? Or those documents sent to him are meaningless?
