  • Moneybarn - Urgent Help Needed

    Hi,

I have car finance with Moneybarn.

I have paid 2 years of a 3 year contract and have fallen 3 months into arrears due to not being able to work full time due to pregnancy. I have now started working again.

I have received a letter from them advising I have until the 24th to pay the outstanding amount - which is too much for me to get together by then.

When I have encountered financial difficulties in the past and contacted them for help I have been met with a wall of 'you can't afford the car' no help with reducing payments for a period of time.

I need my car for work and family. What are my options moving forward? I know they need to get a court order to remove my car as I have paid over a third of the car but I'm not sure about anything else.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Tia

Hi Tia I too am having some issues with money barn so I understand how you are feeling. They did sort of pressure me into signing a consent order with them where I felt no other option but I am not sure if that is the best thing
Good luck and I am sure you will get some good advice on here!
