I'm not sure whether or not a late submission of a supplementary WS would be accepted, as the courts are pretty strict on these things since the Denton ruling.
But you should be able to address the DN issue orally at the hearing as you have already raised the issue in your submitted defence.

Morning charitynjw,
Thanks for the link have read through,so having no default notice would this go in my favor? As there shouldn't be a claim made without one.
I have read elsewhere that it is possible to submit a late extra witness statement or would it be better to just mention at hearing.
And that i have only seen any documents regarding debt after my witness statement had been sent in.
