ccj payment schedule change

my husband has a ccj which he agreed to pay a specific ( large) amount in 3 yearly instalments. we paid the first in April this year with the next obviously due in April 2017. my mother in law agreed to help but relationships have broken down and we are now unable to pay the next payment in full. will we be able to get a change to the payment schedule?

You need to apply to the court for a variation order using form N245.

If you are on benefits or low income you might be eligible for fee remission as well.
