  • CCJ Advice needed - I'm devastated

    Hi,
Last month I recieved a CCJ- my fault out of work unable to pay. However I scrimped saved, begged and borrowed the money to pay it off - £327 - within the 30 days allowed for the CCJ to be removed.
I managed to scrap together the money on the 30th day.

My options.l to pay were as follows -
    Pay through my bank
    Pay using their online system
Ring and pay over the phone

I thought over their online system would be best so I logged on and in the my account part it states that my account did not have the option to pay through their online system- no idea why

Secondly I rang them- it was a Saturday they closed at lunch time - no automated payment system

So I set up a new payee on my online banking and paid the money across. It stated once paid that my payment will take around 2 hours to reach my recipients bank account!

Thank the Lord!!! Huge weight off my shoulders!!

Until a few days letter a recieved a letter confirming that my account was cleared and all monies had been received on the 14th!!! 3 days after the deadline!!

I now have a CCJ hanging on my credit file for 6 years! Surely this is unfair? Is there anyway to fight it. I have screen shots of their online system on the day I tried to pay and also screen shots of my payment been accepted by my online banking showing amount and payee etc?

    Do I fight this?

    Thanks
