  • Judge and priestly llp claim form

    Hi,

I have received a claim form and sent the letters required to the claimant and the solicitors however reading through the particulars of claim I have seen a query which I need some help with.

It states on the 12/10/2011 the defendant entered into an agreement with progressive credit Ltd , as I was unsure of who this is, I googled the company and got taken to companies house, it would seem that progressive credit Ltd were not incorporated until November 2013 so how could I make an agreement with a company that did not exist?

The default date claimed is the 18/07/2012 so this was also before incorporation.

Are the statement of particulars wrong or did a company of this name exist previously?

Any advice would be apriciated thank you.
