Hi hoping someone can give me a few pointers and a bit of advice please.
back in January I received court papers for a claimed debt to Lowell portfolio that was transferred to them from Vodafone in 2014.
i defended it on the basis that I believe it is statute barred as there in nothing on my credit file and I think it's over 6 years. Received a letter confirming defence received and if the claimant doesn't respond within 28 days the case is stayed,
lowell did not respond to my defence within the 28 days, heard nothing and then I have received this week a notice of proposed allocation to the small claims track? I a bit confused by this as I had thought since they hadn't replied to my defence that was it done. This now gives me till 14th march to complete the small claims direction questionnaire form n180.

so how do I proceed now. Send back the questionnaire stating I don't think it is suitable for small claims track and why? I have a letter from the court stating they received my defence and if the claimant doesn't respond the case is stayed, this now doesn't seem to be the case unless I'm not understanding it
thanks in advance to anyone willing to help.
