  • Please help. Marstons

I'm a single mum of 5 kids. The youngest being 6mths.
I had an arrangement with the magistrates court but was late paying and it got passed on to marstons. I had until the 5th to ring them and only pay the first extra £75 I think it was. However my son was taken into hospital and I stayed in with him, I must admit all thoughts of the debt left my mind. I got back today to a warrant of control. And my £399 fine gone up to over £700. He said I have until Thursday to pay it. I text him saying I am a single parent and can he under the vulnerable persons act send it back to the court. When I first got my letter I phoned the court they said they would take it back as I was up to date with payments in fact I have paid more than agreed. But it's up to marstons.
I offered him £150 today and explained I have just got back from hospital. He won't accept it. I don't know what to do. In all honesty I don't have goods worth £700 at all. My ex took most of the things with him when he left. I'm only on maternity pay and child tax credits. I cannot afford to pay this extra at all and I really don't know what to do.
