Morning all;
I've spent over 7 years in an IVA which was paid up in April 2015, however my mum died in Dec 2014 and I have a 1/3 share of her house in an ineritance. Due to IVA rules they are entitled to my 1/3 share and it will all be swallowed up by my IVA - my IVA was about £80,000, I paid back £27,000 as a full and final and my 1/3 share is £50,000. Now my mums house still hasn't been sold due to family disputes and my IVA has been extended for another 12 months until November 2016 to capture money from the house sale so my big question is can I refuse/revoke to take my 1/3 share of the will and give it to one of my sisters? I'm not going to get any of it anyway and they could really use the money so I won't be stuck in my IVA for another 12 months?
