I understand thanks nem it's just very confusing if you don't know their group consists of Tom dick and Harry lol.
Would you advise leaving waiting to see what happens over the next 28 days if the progress to the next step. Lowell say that I have to make contact with Fred as they will pass documents to them when they receive them but I've requested them from Lowell portfolio and paid my pound to them and not Fred. I don't want to be duplicating letters around their internal workings as this is a waste of time and postage costs.

Carter will often respond to a defence at the very last minute or a couple of days late and will seek relief from sanction IF he has and docs to prove the claim.

The only thing I would want to know personally is where did the extra money added to the claim come from.

Just looking through my paperwork nem, the cheeky buggers have come up with the new figure from how much I would have to pay if the court costs are added on lol should they prove their claim.

I've done my worrying and stressing over this matter and thanks to you kind folks on here with the support I've received this far, I am now enjoying the experience of dealing with these ignorant prats who make life such a misery for the most 😄

Hi folks, just a quick update on where I'm currently at. I submitted my defence 6th Nov and the court processed this on 9th Nov. I haven't heard from anyone within the 28 days do I need to contact the court for an update? Many thanks.

Check with the court Tomorrow the claim may be stayed if the claimant has not responded to your defence.

Hi Nem, I called the court today and the claim has been stated as 11/12/15. Do I just wait longer now?

Ok that's what I expected!
On what date was it stayed?
If you here nothing more, check just after the holidays just to make sure nothing sneaky has gone on.

If the claim remains stayed you can then consider applying for the claim to be struck out.

It was stayed from 11 Dec. And no correspondence has be received from Mr Carter and co. I will go for this being struck out after the holidays.

Hi nem I've just checked my credit report and the default sum has risen to £554 from the 434. Do you know if they are allowed to do this as the account is in dispute with a stayed court claim. Am I able to notify the credit reference agency that this is in dispute. The Lowell account is also showing in the closed section of my credit report now. Cheers

Looks like they have added court costs to it.

Would be worth checking with the court tomorrow to see if Carter has been up to something!

Thanks nem. The case is stayed and hasn't moved. So unsure why they continue to add to a disputed figure.
