DEBT Advice needed please

Hi im new to this forum.
I have 4 credit cards. Total debt £ 8000.
Struggling to keep up with payments aswell as my utilitys.
Is there anyway I can bring payments down and one
easy payment without it affecting my credit rating ? These
consolidation places are confusing. Any advice would
be great. Thanks

I think the short answer is no, any debt management plan (DMP) or similar will trash your credit record.

The best advice is to avoid any company that charges a fee for doing so, and there are many, and give one of the debt charities a call and see what they suggest, Step Change and Payplan seem to be the ones most highly spoken of.
