Hi Everyone,
Wondering if you can help. I took out a joint loan in December 2007 secured on my property with Welcome Finance.
I was reviewing the paperwork a couple of years back an I noticed there was a mistake in the agreement (where it shows the total charge for interest, it shows as a negative instead of the amount) I complained to welcome about this and they said that it is a smudge on the page and it doesn't show a negative (it is most certainly not a smudge on the page, it is a typo)
With all of the news about mistakes being made in credit agreements and the fact that interest shouldn't be charged if a mistake is made does anyone know if I have a case to make when it comes to challenging the interest?
Many thanks for any support you can provide.
Kind regards
