Hi there I joined this forum about a fortnight ago after I received a letter from Restons Solicitors. For a debt I do not know about.
Reading through the threads I sent them a No knowledge letter, I got a reply saying the will not respond as the letter is unsigned, as you can see their first letter to me just had a generic signature on it.
They are saying they must ensure they are corresponding with the correct person, but have previously sent me the letter with account numbers and sums owed without ensuring they are corresponding with the correct person,(Breach of Data Protection)
The original letter says they will issue a claim if I fail to pay by 24th June 2014,
What would any of you advise my response to them should be???
I have attached copies of the letters received and the one I sent (Recorded Delivery) which they have returned refusing to correspond without a signature.
