Savings Advice Please

My partner and I want to save for a deposit/mortgage.
We have £1,200 we can deposit now and we can put in £400 per month. Ideally we want to save till Jan16.

What is the best savings account for what we are trying to achieve? We want a joint account of course

So confusing to find the right place to put it!
