  • Personal Injury trust fund ???

Could anyone advise me on how a Personal Injury Trust Fund works please?

Does it have to be run by someone other than myself or my husband, and if you can only use a certain amount of the money as and when?

Where would be a safe option to look at.

    Many thanks

A PIT fund requires at least two trustees , one of whom can be the beneficiary.

A good guide, with lots of advice, is here https://www.headway.org.uk/media/278...-factsheet.pdf

Altho' it is written by the Brain Injury Association, it applies to any personal Injury trust.
