Default dated after date loan agreement ended

Hi

Can someone please help me with a query on payday loans? I had a 3 month fixed term short term loan with QuickQuid, taken out July 2017 and ending October 2017. I failed to make my last payment. I never received a default notice but have since realised a default with CRA dated December 2017. Can the date I defaulted be after the actual contract ended?

if outstanding payment = thats the default

so if you are Eng/wales based will stay on till Jan 2024 if Scotland based then should now be off file.
