  • Landmark unsecured arrears markers

First post...hello there...hope this is in an appropriate place.
I am really struggling to sort out, or to be honest fully understand, an issue with the unsecured element of my mortgage with Landmark. Pic posted below of equifax report. In a DMP since Feb 13 and have never missed a payment. Are these markers going to prevent me being able to remortgage? Have seen mixed and contradictory advice and am unsure what to believe. Landmark told me tonight it’s the law that they have to record things in this way. I am going to be able to pay them more each month now but it will still take two years to clear arrears so the markers will continue to be added. Can I do anything to improve matters myself? Many thanks in advance,

Further to the above I have been advised by members of the MSE forum that I should write to the creditor and ask for a default to be applied and backdated to 2013. Would anyone be willing to help me with the wording of this, I’ve had a look at the FCA guidelines but have no idea of what I could quote, I don’t understand the language.
