10 quid a month

I am in an agreement with a debt collection agency paying ten quid a month. I have been doing it for some time and nothing has improved.

it will take years and years at this rate to pay. I'm just frightened that they will come to a conclusion at some point even though I'm paying this to go to court. How long do they usually agree paying small amounts like this before hitting you with the juglar?

I'm doing what I can do and ensuring this is paid...also keep updating them?

I would guess that the collection people would have a battle on their hands convincing a Judge that you did not pay,providing you keep receipts to grant a CCJ against you. No doubt I may stand to be corrected by the gents on here, but that's my opinion.

Which debt company is it?
So long as you keep the up to date with Income/Expenditure they cannot charge you more than you can afford each month. They would only go down the court route if they suspected you had more money available than you’d declared.
How old is the account? What type of credit was it? There may be some other things to consider querying such as compliance with the CCA.
