  • Will it affect my state pension?

Hi, Am thinking of reducing my hours at work to a tues.wed.thurs 3 day week.
My employer probably will be agreeable, I get full state pension NEXT year in march as I completed 30 years nat ins contributions in 2001. Question: If I do the 3 day week which will take me down to about £10500 pa and will pay no tax? Am I right in saying that reducing my hours before Mar 2020 my amount of state pension will not be affected?
    Thankyou

I think for a full pension the requirement is for 35 years now.

there is a pay point where you don't pay tax nor national insurance but are credited with NI contributions. Things may have changed though, this was a few years ago. Your employer should be able to tell you that point
